Flight Operations Agents are in the day-to-day running of airline’s operations control center and responsible for load planning, coordinating with pilots, crew, ramp handler and airport agencies. Flight Operations Agent must be able to juggle a large amount of information at once, and prioritize tasks systematically. Computer and mathematic skills with topnotch communication ability are essential for the job.
Duties
The Senior – assigned by Lufthansa Technik AG (LHT) – assists to implement, coordinate and monitor agreed technical services between LHT and customers.
General Responsibilities:
Aircraft Transition Tasks (records assessment)
- Review and assess aircraft documentation, including ADs, SBs, EOs, component hard-time and on-condition limits, time-limited items, life-limited parts, and structural repair records.
- Verify maintenance instructions, limits, and overhaul procedures against the current aircraft status.
- Ensure compliance with EASA and FAA regulatory requirements for all maintenance activities.
- Interpret and apply contractual lease agreements during transition activities.
- Support/ perform any related aircraft document review and assessment.
Aircraft Transition Tasks (Layover Supervision)
- Monitoring the repairs and modifications during Aircraft layover.
- Inspect and assess Aircraft condition physically and instruct Maintenance Repair Organization (MRO) to launch corrective measures.
- Review task cards generated from maintenance events and ensure proper execution.
General Support Tasks
- Support in monitoring relevant economic and operation parameters (Key Performance Indicators, KPIs) for Customers and LHT.
- Support in onboarding and training new colleagues including answering questions from the team.
- Connect LHT technical services to the customer beyond cross- cultural barriers.
- Manage tasks reasonably assigned by Team Leader and/or Manager
- Ability for international duty travel
- Plan, Coordinate, monitor, control and evaluate the performance of planning tasks resulting from line and base maintenance events
Qualification:
• Male or Female
• Thai Nationality or has eligible work permit to work in Thailand
• University Degree (Aeronautical Engineering, Aerospace, or any equivalent)
• Good knowledge of aviation industry, airworthiness and legislation (EASA & FAA).
• Requirement – Minimum 3 years of direct experience in aircraft transition business or minimum years of related maintenance planning or engineering experience
• Experience in B787,B777,B737, A320 and A330 is preferable.
• Very good communication skill in English, written and spoken (TOEIC >800 or equivalent)
• Good analytical and strategic-conceptual skills
• Good PC user know-how
• Team player who likes working with teams from multiple nationalities, relevant international experience is an advantage.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently in a dynamic environment.
• Willing to work on shift basis inclusive of weekends and public holidays.
• Willing to travel frequently, if required.
